My Current Favorite Beauty Product :
So I’ve struggled with acne since…well since I entered puberty. High school was a mess for me and especially the first several years of college. I ended up going on Accutane at the spring semester of my junior year for a couple of months. Since I went to Paris for a month and Accutane is a pain when it comes to actually getting the medication- I stopped using it after maybe 3-4 months on it. My face isn’t completely acne-free but its definitely gotten A LOT better :)
One of the things that keep my blemishes away is Proactive’s mask- which is great since I can definitely see a difference. The only problem it does dry out my skin a bit so….I’ve been using Organic Wear’s 100% Natural Origin Tinted Moisturizer.
I usually use Neutrogena and don’t get me wrong they’re great as well. But when my skin is a bit dry and even a bit flaky at spots Organic Wear does the trick for me :) It’s a tinted moisturizer rather than actual liquid foundation so it doesn’t hide everything that well but with a help of concealer and using Neutorgena’s Skin Clearing Mineral Powder over it definitely makes me look more put together :)
Conclusion:
It’s a great tinted moisturizer- it doesn’t burn my skin as some lotions do when my skin is really dry in spots and since its 100% free of harsh chemicals I’m pretty confident that it won’t irritate my skin. It’s definitely my go too for the days after I use the Proactive mask or even on days I feel my skin is a bit too dry.
It also has SPF 15! Although I did read that a moisturizer is NOT a replacement for sunscreen and it’s important to also use sunscreen as well- but its better than nothing :)
Also its 100% Cruelty Free. I’m trying my best to use products that are 100% Cruelty Free and against animal testing. I know a lot of the actual products I use are…but I’ve read that a lot of their parent companies do use it…so its a bit iffy there.

The only thing I would hope for is better coverage but again its a tinted moisturizer not an actual liquid foundation :)
